Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Triple Wardrobe after Chippendale and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a carved and moulded cornice top above a deep cross banded frieze with carved beading to the edges. This is above a central door with geometric panel and original brass handle and with internal hanging rail. This is above two drawers both of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To each side there is a full length geometric shaped panelled door with original brass handles and with carved frieze separating the panels. Internally they have a single shelf above a hanging rail. It is raised on a plinth base with carved gadrooned edge and on a claw and ball foot. The wardrobe separates for ease of transforming. A superb quality Edwardian Chippendale wardrobe.
