Description

An antique French Kingwood double bedstead and dating from around 1900. The headboard has moulded sides with gilt metal mounts to the top. It has a moulded top rail with a moulded panel under which has an inlaid oval to the centre. The foot board is of the same except for the gilt metal cartouche to the bottom. The bed has gilt metal mounted legs and screw in iron side rails and it takes a standard double mattress.
Measures: Height To Head Board: 60" x Height To Foot Board: 35" x Depth: 80" x Width: 54"
