Description

Most Impressive Large Antique Victorian Arts & Crafts Castleated Walnut Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1890. Of excellent quality it has a castleated cornice top which is reeded and with turned spanderalls above a large wide central mirrored door (please note that the lighting makes the glass appear 'bloomed' it is in fact in very good condition). To each side there is a reeded panelled door with attractive geometric moulded panel to the centre and with original brass handles and to the base of each door there is a small panelled drawer both of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles and the whole stands on a plinth base. Internally each wardrobe has its original cloth lining and hanging rail and to the centre there is a hanging rail above four sliding mahogany trays (these can be removed for further hanging space) and with three graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original brass handles.
The wardrobe separates into six pieces for ease of transporting
