Description

Stunning Antique William 1V flamed Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1830. Of excellent quality it has a serpentine shaped cornice top to the centre with carved corbal supports to each side and above two full length moulded panelled doors. To each side there is a further panelled door which is beautifully moulded and carved to the top of the panel and with cornice top. Internally and to the centre there is a hanging rail (original it had sliding drawers but now replaced with a hanging rail. However shelves could be fitted if required). There is a sliding drawer above two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original ornate brass handles. To each side there is full length hanging space with a deep shoe drawer at one side and the other side has a removable shelf to the bottom of the wardrobe. The whole stands on a deep plinth base and it separates into seven pieces for ease of transporting.
