Description

Superb Antique Victorian Oak Tambor Front Desk and dating from around 1880. It has a tambor roll top in very good condition with original lock and key and moulded oak handles. Internally there are rows of assorted pigeon holes and letter racks with sliding pen trays and two small oak lined drawers with oak handles and oak writing surface. Each pedastal has a sliding book shelf above four graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original oak handles. The kneehole has a panelled back and sides and frieze drawer to the top.
Measures: 47" high to top x 31" to desk x 28" high to kneehole x 27" deep x 48" wide
A superb desk in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozes all the charm and character of the Period.
