Description

Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Mahogany Chaise Longue Sofa and dating from aorund 1890. Constructed from superb quality mahogany it has a lovely scrolled backrest/armrest to one end with carved mahogany support and to the other end is a deep buttoned curved tub armrest with carved mahogany support. Both ends joined by a pierced mahogany frieze of swags and tails with a deep scrolled backrest. It stands on lovely cabriole legs and upholstered in a quality fabric totally in keeping with the Period.
Measures: 32" high to scroll end x 30" to back x 29" to tub end x seat height 16" x 27" deep x 68" wide
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the Period.
