Gorgeous Pair Antique Walnut Louis XV1 Style Bergere Armchairs and dating from around 1920. With a serpentine shaped back rail with carved cartouche to the centre above a split cane backrest and padded armrests with shaped supports. They have a deep stuff over seat recently recovered in a pale contemporary stripe quality fabric and with shaped skirt and carved cartouche to the centre. Standing on cabriole legs carved to the shoulders.
Each chair measures: 37" high x seat height 17" x 26" deep x 27" wide
They are in very good condition with a lovely colour and patination to the quality walnut and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
