Description

Lovely Pair of Antique Victorian Mahogany Elbow Chairs in the Georgian Regency Style and dating from aorund 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany they have a serpentine shaped top rail above a vase shaped central back splat carved to the top and with outsplayed shepherds crook armrests above a drop in seat pad covered in a pale neutral fabric. They stand on squared and tapering legs joined by squared stretchers.
Each chair measures: 36" high x seat height 17" x 23" deep x 22" wide
A superb pair of chairs in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
