Description

Lovely Antique Victorian Walnut Secretaire Bookcase and dating form aorund 1890. It has a cornice top with dental moulding above a deep frieze and with two glazed panelled doors with original working key and brass handle and with three internal adjustable shelves. The base has a moulded edge to the top above a carved panelled false drawer front with original brass handles and which opens to reveal a very nice interior with various pigeon holes and small drawers of walnut edges with contrasting mahogany and it has its original faux leather tooled skiver. There are two carved panelled doors to the base with original brass handles and with internal shelf and the whole standing on a plinth base with shaped bracket feet. The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.
Measures: 95" high x knee height 29" x 20" deep x internal depth (top) 11" x 48" wide
