Description

Antique Edwardian Flamed Mahogany Bow Front Triple Wardrobe Compactum by Waring & Gillow with its original badge for the Lancaster Factory. Dating from around 1900 It has a cornice top above a cross banded frieze with arched spindle moulding. To the centre there is a half panelled door of flamed mahogany with ornate brass handle and with internal shelf and above three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To each side there is a full length double panelled door of flamed mahogany with brass drop handles and with brass rails and with a shelf to one side. It stands on a plinth base on splayed bracket feet. Separates for ease of transporting.
Measures: 79" high x 24" deep x internal depth 18" x 76" wide
A superb Wardrobe of excellent quality flamed mahogany in very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period. Please note that the photographs do not do this lovely wardrobe justice.
