Description

Antique William 1V Original Oak Bergere Tub Armchair and dating from aorund 1830. It has a deep moulded rail with carved and scrolled moulding to the top and with shaped armrests on a turned support. It has a split cane backrest and seat ( both in very good condition with no tears to the cane) and stands on turned and block legs joined by a turned stretcher. ( comes with original horsehair filled seat cushion with original faded linen cover).
Measures: 34" high x seat height 17" x 21" deep x 22" wide
A Superb Early Victorian Bergere Tub Armchair of excellent quality oak and in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
