Description

Gorgeous Antique Victorian Satin Birch Linen Press and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality Satin Birch with a fabulous grain and with a deep cornice top and cross banded frieze above two arched panelled doors with original knob handle. Internally there are four Ash lined sliding trays ( these could easily be removed and hanging rail fitted if required). To the base there are two short drawers over two long graduating drawers, (the bottom drawer being a deep frieze drawer with its own original pot castors) all of the drawers are ash lined with original knob handles and it stands on squat bun feet. The top removes for ease of transporting.
Measures: 83" high x 21" deep x internal depth 18" x 52" wide
A super Antique Victorian Satin Birch Linen Press and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
