ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN MAHOGANY SHERATON DRESSING TABLE C1900

Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Dressing Table in the style of Sheraton by the famous makers Hamptons of Pall Mall, London and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has an oval shaped bevelled mirror set within a mahogany frame with chequered stringing and with shaped side supports being strung to the edges above two central open compartments with frieze and small jewellery drawer to each side. The table top has a moulded edge with chequered stringing above two long drawers over a small drawer either side of the kneehole with a shaped frieze. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with chequered stringing to the fronts and with original brass handles. It stands on long tapering legs with inlaid stringing on castors. It has its original ivoreen badge for Hamptons and the top separates for ease of transporting.
