THIS IS A LOVELY ANTIQUE EARLY VICTORIAN MAHOGANY LARGE OVAL TILT TOP TABLE AND DATING FROM AROUND 1840-50. CONSTRUCTED FROM SOLID MAHOGANY WITH A LARGE OVAL TOP WITH DEEP MAHOGANY FRIEZE AND ORIGINAL BRASS TILT CATCH. IT STANDS ON A LOVELY HEAVY TURNED CENTRAL SUPPORT WITH LARGE TURNED FINIAL AND ON THREE SHAPED AND CARVED LEGS ON A CARVED FOOT.SEATS 8 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY.
IN LOVELY CONDITION WITH GOOD COLOUR AND PATINATION. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF 'USUAL' AND VERY MINOR COMPRESSION MARKS BUT NOTHING THAT DETRACTS FROM THIS LOVELY TABLE.
