Description

Antique Mahogany single wardrobe purchased from HARRODS of London c1920. Constructed from quality mahogany as only one would expect from such a high profile retailer and consisting of a single wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers.
The wardrobe has a cornice top with panelled frieze above a full length bevelled mirrored door with original brass handle and flanked on either side by a shaped fielded panel with carved decorative motif to the top. Internally it is all hanging with brass rail. To the base there is a long deep drawer which is beach lined with original brass handles and it is raised on squared legs with shaped corner supports. The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

With a lovely deep colour and patination to the brasswork and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
