THIS IS A SUPERB SET ANTIQUE WILLIAM 1V MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS AND DATING FROM AORUND 1820. THEY HAVE A DEEP SHAPED BACK RAIL ABOVE A SHAPED AND CARVED CENTRAL BACK SPLAT WITH SHAPED AND CURVED SIDE SUPPORTS. THEY HAVE DROP IN SEAT PADS WITH ORIGINAL HORSEHAIR UPHOLSTERY AND COVERED IN A GREEN DAMASK AND STAND ON LOVELY TURNED LEGS TO THE FRONT WITH SABRE LEGS TO THE BACK.
THEY ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND HAVE A LOVELY DEEP COLOUR AND PATINATION TO THE QUALITY MAHOGANY AND OOZE THE CHARM AND CHARACTER OF THE PERIOD.
