Description

Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Princess Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a stepped cornice top above a crossbanded frieze and to the centre are two small carved doors with trumpet and mandolin carving with brass handles and with internal hooks . This is above a carved frieze with inset bevelled mirror and three graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with with original brass handles, to either side is a full length shaped mirrored door with brass handle and carved moulded frieze above. Internally there is a single shelf above a hanging rail. The wardrobe is moulded to the base and raised on short cabriole legs on a pad foot joined by a shaped frieze. The interior has recently been relined with a quality fabric.
