Description

Impressive and Large Antique Victorian Mahogany Dressing Table and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a large central swing mirror to the centre flanked on either side by a smaller mirror all of which are set within a moulded mahogany frame. The side mirrors are fronted by three waterfall shelves with stunning fretwork supports. The base has an inverted drop centre with moulded edge above a central frieze with acanthus and leaf carved supports above two moulded panelled doors with a single internal shelf. This is flanked on either side by a single pedestal with a frieze panelled drawer to the top above a single panelled door with carved boss to the centre and turned architectural column to either side. Internally there there are four mahogany lined drawers with original brass handles. It is raised on a plinth base on castors and separates for ease of transporting.
