Description

Antique Early Victorian Tall Mahogany Alcove Chest of Drawers by Wilkinsons of London and dating from around 1845. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a squared edge to the top over two short and five long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original turned mahogany knob handles . It has a plinth base to the front and being flat sided to the base to enable it to slot into an alcove. It is stamped for William & Charles Wilkinson, 14 Ludgate Hill, London. They were makers of high quality furniture from 1835-1855.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
