a late victorian mahogany triple wardrobe c1890

Description

A late Victorian Mahogany triple wardrobe and dating from around 1890. This lovely wardrobe has a dental moulded cornice with pierced and carved pediment above and a wide readed lip. It features a central bevelled mirrored door with two small fretwork panels above which is Satin backed. The doors to both ends have two small fretwork panels which are Satinwood backed above a segmented moulded panel with a mirror to the centre. Under this is a long moulded and readed panel. Behind the left and centre doors is a rail above a slide tray with two short over two long graduating drawers all of which are Ash lined. Behind the right hand door is a rail and hooks with a shoe box to the bottom and the wardrobe stands on a plinth base. It separates into 6 pieces for ease of movement.
