Description

Exceptional Antique Turn of The Century Roll Top Derby Desk Bureau constructed from quality walnut and having an S Shaped Tambor front with ornate brass escutcheon with makers name and which opens to reveal various pigeon holes and two small drawers. To the centre there is a single long drawer box a shaped frieze and To each pedestal there is a sliding book shelf over four graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with walnut handles. It is raised on a plinth base. It is panelled to the inside of the kneehole, sides and back and can therefore be free standing. The top separates for ease of transporting. T. Inglesant & Son�s 1889 - 1937 helped to furnish the Royal Pavillion.
